In my work as neurology nurse I am associated with the Neurology department in the Nijmeegs Kenniscentrum Neurorevaldatie (NKN) and ParkinsonNet of the Radboudumc in Nijmegen. I have been working since 1990  with neurological patients in hospitals, nursing homes and in primary care. Working with neurological patients has always interested me a lot and I can think of no better specialism.

Since 2000, I have also been able to express my passion for this in the educational field as a neurorehabilitation lecturer. I am involved as a lecturer both in schooling and training courses for nurses and physiotherapists and in the Master's study Neurorehabilitation. In addition I have several publications to my name in the field of CVA, Parkinson's disease, Swallowing impairments and Cognition and Neurorehabiliation.
