I completed my occupational therapy course in 2001 in Heerlen. I work for Valkenhof Centers for nursing and care in Valkenswaard as an occupational therapist and cognitive rehabilitation therapist. I have been working as a lecturer on the "Neurorehabilitation for CNS disorders" course since 2010.

In recent years I have specialized in the occupational therapy diagnosis and treatment of CNS disorders. It is very interesting and continues to be a challenge each time to determine where and when a client is experiencing the consequences in daily life of the neurological damage. Creating the conditions with regard to ADL, informing those directly involved with the client and harmonizing within the team around the client means that "Neurorehabilitation for CNS disorders" is pre-eminently a multidisciplinary matter.
