Rob de Ruijter
As a geriatric physiotherapist I work in a physiotherapy practice in Stein. In my practice I mainly see CVA-, MS- and Parkinson's patients.
Within the nursing homes with which we have contacts, I see in particular people with multiple pathologies, for example various dementia syndromes.
I am associated with the Zuyd Hogeschool in Helen as a lecturer in Physiotherapy. Here I am involved in the development of the curriculum for second- and third-year students, in respect of the Neurology- and the Elderly block. In addition, I also am responsible on behalf of the Zuyd Hogeschool for various post-graduate courses, such as "Clinimetry in the Elderly".
Within the “Neurorehabilitation for CNS disorders" course, it is especially very motivating to coach both occupational therapists and physiotherapists. It is and remains a multidisciplinary matter.
